Our multidisciplinary team brings together expertise in mental health, youth empowerment, education, and community development. From program managers and coordinators to facilitators and volunteers, each member plays a vital role in designing and delivering impactful programs that respond to real needs with real results.

We believe in collaboration, accountability, and compassion. Guided by innovation and grounded in empathy, our team embodies the spirit of care that defines El Shama Cares , transforming challenges into opportunities, and hope into action.

Tray Collier, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EL Shama Cares Foundation, is a visionary leader whose passion for youth empowerment and relentless commitment to social change have shaped the Foundation’s bold direction.

​

A respected advocate, strategist, and community voice, Tray has dedicated his career to advancing equitable access to mental health resources, youth development, and community resilience.

 

With a belief that compassion must be matched by innovation, our director has built EL Shama Cares into a catalyst for sustainable impact, bridging gaps between systems, cultures, and communities.

​

Under his leadership, the Foundation has grown into a dynamic platform for collaboration, engaging schools, faith organizations, and civic partners to create scalable, life changing programs across Alberta and beyond.

 

His leadership is marked by vision, authenticity, and the unwavering conviction that change begins when care becomes collective.
